• Hardshell Technology: This helmet technology is outstanding in longevity and impact protection. For this reason we use it in our race and rental helmets.
• Visor Construction: HEAD Visor Construction is a wind-sealed UV protective shield that allows skiers to ride wearing prescription glasses. Like on a motorcycle helmet the visor can be pulled down to protect the eyes while riding.
• 360° Microshell: The 360° Microshell is a polycarbonate layer, which three-dimensionally wraps around the lower helmet lip, that prevents scratches and dents in the helmet’s foam.
• Thermal Ventilation: Thermal Ventilation is our automatic ventilation system which leads warm air away from the head to the outside without allowing any cold air to the inside.
• Microfur: Microfur is both warming and comfortable on the skin. As a helmet lining it creates the perfect fit and feel for all-day shredding.
• Windshield Liner: A thin cover on the forehead that keeps your head protected from the airstream.
• Beanie Liner: The soft Microfleece material of the Beanie Liner adapts perfectly to the head and thus avoids any bruises and the unpleasant entering of cold air. Molded-in mesh zones let heat and moisture escape to the outside and, together with the ventilation system, ensure a pleasant head climate.
• Sphere Fit: The patented Sphere Fit system is a free-hanging fit system. It wraps around the head like a beanie, creating a snug and comfortable fit without applying any pressure.
• Neckgator: The Neckgator provides comfort and warmth to the helmet wearer. It adds comfort, fit and excludes the elements.
• Removable Earpads: The washable earpads of this model can be taken out to suit the variable weather conditions and for cleaning.
• Photochromic Lens: This lens automatically adapts its lens tone between categories S1 to S3, depending on the weather condition. The lens is toned down in bright, sunny conditions and allows more light to enter the eyes in cloudy, overcast weather conditions.
• Easyclick Lens Exchange System: The lens can be exchanged with a simple click mechanism on both sides. A small colored dot indicates if the lens is securely locked with the outriggers.
• Toric Lens: Toric lenses are curved in a way which avoids optical distortion.
• Ventilated Lens: Channels off air from the lens into the helmets ventilation system and therefore prevents fogging.
• UV400 & Anti Fog: UV400 & Anti Fog refers to the intense UV protective qualities of HEAD lenses and their ability to minimise fogging. The light on the mountain is intense so you need the best protection possible as well as anti-fogging qualities to maintain the best visibility.
• Comfort Foam: Comfort Foam is a single density foam that allows for the ideal inner goggle climate. Comfortable with venting properties it is the ideal foam for goggles.
